Outlander / Master Datacron and class buffs

Hi,


So I've heard over and over again via forum search that Master Datacron does NOT complete the story, therefore you can start the story from scratch at level 70 to complete achievements/class buffs/etc.
What if you use the Master Datacron, then use the ship terminal to skip to KoTFE and autocomplete the class story? Will you get the legacy buff? Will that translate to completing the class story for Legendary status in the character select screen?


Please help.
