SWTOR Shutting Down in 2018?

Hi,

So I've been hearing some quite disturbing rumors about the game shutting down within this year, with devs saying things such as "It's up in the air" on whether or not they will pull the plug or not this year. Of course I really hope this isn't true as I've been playing this game since 2012 and I've had some really fun memories playing this game, I've always loved it through its ups and downs. At the very least I hope the game lasts another two years until I graduate high school and inevitably move on to more important things in life. Nonetheless, its always reminded me of my childhood and this game embodies everything I love about the Star Wars franchise and I would hate to see it end so soon. However, its hard to deny facts with the Server Merge as well as obvious lack of new content being pumped out by devs, aside from the usual flow of Cartel Market  that's always been the same for years now. What do you guys think?
